Who administers the IDA?

The UCIDA board members are appointed by the County Legislature and is made up of business and community leaders.  The Agency has contracted with the Ulster County Office of Economic Development to administer its operations.

How is it funded?

UCIDA operations are exclusively funded from fees charged at closing to applicants seeking Ulster County benefits.  UCIDA expenses are not paid for by appropriations from taxpayers.  Typically, fees total approximately one percent of the total project amount, plus bond counsel and closing costs.
