Legislator Carl Belfiglio’s talent and communication skills lead him to a career as a Computer Network Specialist. He is currently employed at the Mid-Hudson Regional Information Center, one of twelve New York State Regional Centers that offers school districts a way to maintain cutting edge technical and management services in a cost effective manner. 

In addition to his Legislative and work responsibilities, Carl serves on the Ulster Prevention Council, a Substance Abuse Prevention Board. 

Carl is a talented wedding photographer who has captured the memories of many new families in the region.  His photographic work has graced Ulster County Directory Covers and he has been the official photographer of his fellow Legislators for the last two Legislative sessions.

Carl served as a Town Councilman in the Town of Esopus before being elected to the County Legislature in 2010.  He also served previously as a Trustee for the Klyne-Esopus Museum, Financial Secretary of the Town of Esopus United Methodist Church, and Cub Master for Esopus Pack 26 of the Rip Van Winkle Boy Scouts of America Council.

Carl is a life-long resident of Ulster County.  He graduated from Kingston High School in 1979 and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1990.  Carl and his lovely wife, Annmarie, live in Esopus.
