County Executive Mike Hein Announces Additional Job Opportunities Will Be Available At The Healthcare Career Job Fair At Ulster Works Career Center

Over 100 Job Opportunities Available - Tuesday, February 2nd from 1 pm - 4 pm

KINGSTON, NY—Ulster County Executive Mike Hein is pleased to announce additional job opportunities will be available at the Healthcare Career Job Fair being held on Tuesday, February 2nd from 1pm until 4pm at the Ulster Works Career Center, 601 Development Court in Kingston.  Since announcing the job fair last week, the Ulster County Office of Employment and Training has registered three new companies, adding 50 more jobs openings for a total of 100 job opportunities.

Hiring managers from Willcare Home Care, Unlimited Care, Inc., and The Baptist Home at Brookmeade will be joining the fair together with The Institute for Family Health, Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley, Normann Staffing, Ten Broeck Commons, AMPM Homecare Companions, Golden Hill Nursing Home, Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions and Anytime Home Care. There are now over 100 job opportunities in Ulster and surrounding counties. 

“I want to thank the many companies participating in the Healthcare Career Job Fair who are offering many employment opportunities for our residents,” said County Executive Mike Hein.  “I am pleased that through the efforts of our Office of Employment and Training, the number of job opportunities being offered has doubled.  I urge those seeking employment or wanting information about how to get involved in the healthcare field to attend the fair at our Ulster Works Center.”

The Job Fair will focus on medical jobs openings for CNA’s, LPN’s, RN’s, PCA’s and HHA’s, as well as Patient Service Representatives and Medical Office Assistants. Positions are also available for Social Workers, RN Manager, Practice Administrators, Central Registration Staff, Transporters, Phlebotomists, and Food and Environmental Services Workers. For those interested in the healthcare profession, but who lack the necessary credentials, staff of Ulster Works Career Center will be available to discuss training opportunities. Representatives from Ulster BOCES and SUNY Ulster will also be there to discuss their healthcare training and degree programs.
