The Ulster County Department of Economic Development supports existing businesses to grow and succeed, attracts new businesses to Ulster County, encourages development of the County’s innovation ecosystem and engages with local communities to develop shared strategies for sustainable and equitable economic growth.

In addition to operating the Department, our staff supports operations of the Ulster County Economic Development Alliance and the Ulster County Revolving Loan Fund. The Department works closely with other County Departments and agencies, including the Planning Department in support of the County’s economic development initiatives.
