It has been determined by the Ulster County Department of Public Works that the embankment of Ohayo Mountain Road approximately 150 feet west of the intersection with Tannery Brook Road in the Town of Woodstock requires stabilization via installation of a retaining wall. The construction is anticipated to begin on Monday July 9, 2018. The Ulster County Department of Public Works has contracted for the replacement work. In order to accomplish this work, it will be necessary to close a portion of Ohayo Mountain Road in the Town of Woodstock to all thru traffic effective Monday July 9, 2018. The closed section of roadway will be approximately 150 feet west of the intersection with Tannery Brook Road. Traffic may use Mill Stream Road east for 0.4 miles to State Route 375 south for 2.8 miles to State Route 28 west for 1.4 miles to Old Route 28 west for 0.5 miles to Ohayo Mountain Road north for 3.1 miles.
