We are very pleased to release news about our next exciting event, GREEN UP DAYS - scheduled for April 23rd & April 30th!
We ask for your help to fulfill our mission of beautifying our town and fostering the well being of our citizens. As always, your time and support is greatly appreciated. We hope you will join us!
Here are the details:
April 23, 2016 - 9:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m.
Volunteer roadside / trailside clean-up to Green-up event
April 23: Meet at 9am at the intersection of 2nd Street and Route 213 (beside the Depuy Canal House) to register and pick up supplies (map, trash bags, etc). Recommended: wear sturdy waterproof footwear and gloves.
Manna Jo Green, our Ulster county legislator, will welcome the volunteers. Samantha Epstein, Invasive Species Program Coordinator of Hudson River Sloop Clearwater will be there throughout the day to instruct interested volunteers in the removal of invasive plants.
April 30, 2016 - 9 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

April 30: Meet at 9am at the intersection of 2nd Street and Route 213 to register (near Depuy Canal House) to register and pick up supplies. Recommended: wear sturdy waterproof footwear and gloves. If you wish to use your own gardening towels, don't hesitate to bring them.

The first 20 volunteers to register will receive a FREE limited edition "High Falls — Center of the Universe" T-shirt. Coffee, tea, water and breakfast treats will be served.
