Ulster County Works To Further Streamline Government Operations Through Voluntary Employee Separation Program
Kingston, N.Y. — As a part of County Executive Mike Hein’s ongoing commitment to protect taxpayers, streamline County government and respond to fiscal challenges, the Ulster County Personnel Department has proposed a Voluntary Separation Program designed to reduce the size of the total workforce and lower payroll and benefits expenses. The Voluntary Separation Program will offer an opportunity to eligible County workers to apply for a one-time $12,500 separation payment to voluntarily leave County service no later than December 1, 2012.
