County Executive Hein Outraged Over DEP Refusal to Cease Waste Releases Into Lower Esopus
Phoenicia -- Ulster County Executive Mike Hein is convening a business assistance workshop in Phoenicia to provide assistance to local businesses following the October and December 2010 floods. The two-part workshop will involve a panel presentation followed by individual counseling sessions. Each participating agency will present an overview of its resources and programs. The panel will be followed by one-on-one meetings to make direct application to programs and register flood damage.

Albany, N.Y -- County Executive Mike Hein has been elected to serve as the First Vice President of the New York State County Executive’s Association at the New York State Association of Counties (NYSAC) fall meeting by fellow county executives. Hein will serve a one year term as First Vice President.
