Ulster County, N.Y. -- Ulster County Executive Mike Hein invites all Ulster County businesses to learn more about the many free business assistance programs Ulster County offers in upcoming workshops.

"I am pleased to offer free business workshops, which will be held at several locations around Ulster County," said Ulster County Executive Mike Hein. "Each session is designed to provide local businesses with information on financing, business planning, workforce opportunities and site selection. Tuesday, June 14   8:00-10:00 am, Business Resource Center, 5 Development Court, Kingston 5:00-7:00 pm, Greco Senior Center, 207 Market Street, Saugerties     Wednesday, June 15   8:00-10:00 am, Marlboro Free Library, 1251 Rt. 9W, Marlborough 4:00-5:30 pm, Ellenville Village Hall, 2 Elting Ct., Ellenville     Questions answered will include topics such as:   Where can I get a free energy audit? Where can I find low cost finance?   Are there any training grants available?   How can I improve my marketing?   Panelists from agencies such as the UlsterWorks Onestop, Ulster County Development Corporation, the Small Business Development Center, Mid-Hudson Energy $mart Communities representing NYSERDA, the Internal Revenue Service, and the US Department of Agriculture will be on hand to discuss the small business programs from each of their agencies and then take questions from the audience.
