AMENDED  SALARY:  The starting salary is currently listed at $28.83 per hour.

AMENDED QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE FOR TAKING THE TEST:  At the time of examination, candidates must have twelve (12) months permanent, competitive class status in the position of Probation Officer OR twenty-four (24) months permanent, competitive class status in the position of Crime Victim Counselor.  Candidates must be presently employed by the Ulster County Probation Department.
