AMENDED QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE FOR TAKING THE TEST:  At the time of examination, candidates must have at least eighteen (18) months permanent, competitive class status in the position of Police Lieutenant; OR, candidates must have at least thirty-six (36) months permanent, competitive class status in the position of Police Sergeant.  Candidates must be presently employed by the Town of Ulster. 

The QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT on the original examination announcement will remain as originally announced.
