Mental Health, Department of

The Department of Mental Health serves residents with mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, and substance use struggles. 

We help residents access the right support, whenever they need it. We can help you navigate the behavioral help care system and explore the available options and resources.

We also coordinate the many service providers that make up Ulster County's mental and behavioral health system. We work with providers to ensure service are accessible, high-quality, and effective.
