Under guidance from the NYS Department of State, Ulster County is preparing an updated Countywide Shared Services Plan for submission before the end of 2019. The Shared Services Panel comprises the cheif elected officials from each of the County's towns, villages and city, and is chaired by the County Executive.
The Kickoff meeting will include an overview of the project goals, roles/responsibilities, and timeline. Participants will begin to identify potential shared service projects for inclusion in the 2019 plan.
This meeting is open to the public to observe, but does not include an opportunity for public comment. Three public hearings will be scheduled in future months to allow for public input into the shared services planning process.
