Social Media Lunch and Learn, 3-D Printing for the Real Estate Sector
Kingston, NY- Ulster County Executive Mike Hein is pleased to announce two January events for Ulster County’s businesses. The first will provide an opportunity for a deeper understanding of social media platforms and how to strategically use online tools; the second is aimed at helping stakeholders in the commercial real estate sector gain valuable insights into the potential of 3-D printing.
A free “Lunch and Learn Webinar” on social media basics and essentials with online marketing expert Paul Rakov will be held on January 14, 2015 at noon. The second event, on January 21st at 8:30 AM, is part of an ongoing series of business insight sessions -- Building Ulster County Together – for the commercial real estate and construction sector. This session’s guest speaker will be Daniel Freedman, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering at SUNY New Paltz – home of the Hudson Valley Advanced Manufacturing Center. This breakfast event will be held at Deising’s Bakery in Kingston and costs $20.
“As the U.S. experiences a shift back toward producing goods, applying innovative methods to manufacturing offers a clear, competitive business advantage,” said County Executive Hein. “This is exactly what the Advanced Manufacturing Center at SUNY New Paltz offers our businesses. Meanwhile, social media has become a critical tool for businesses looking to attract new clients and customers while maintaining a strong relationship with existing ones. Subsequently, these two sessions address some of the key concerns that face all businesses today.”
These events are hosted by the Ulster County Economic Development Alliance.
