“Take a bike ride, hike a mountain trail, take a class or enjoy a healthy meal...these are just some of the activities featured during Healthy Ulster County Week.  I appreciate all of those organizations and businesses who are joining us this week and providing our residents with healthy fun activities and discounts as part of Healthy Ulster County Week,” said County Executive Mike Hein.  “I am pleased that as a County we are continuing to move in the right direction with our health rankings as the 2017 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation County Health Rankings ranks Ulster County #15 out of 62 counties.  This is more than a fifty percent improvement since 2010 which would not be possible without our outstanding community partners.  I urge our residents to review our calendar of events and take advantage of some of the activities and promotions offered.  Visit our various websites to view the Healthy Ulster County Week Calendar:, and”
