Kingston, N.Y. – Surrounded by his family, Ulster County Executive Mike Hein paused from his daily work to take his oath of office as he begins his third term as County Executive. The brief ceremony, held in the County Office Building, was indicative of the County Executive’s ongoing commitment to work for the betterment of all of Ulster County’s residents without interruption.
“Although we have accomplished much, there is still a great deal of important work to be done,” said County Executive Mike Hein. “I am humbled and honored to serve the great people of Ulster County and I will continue to work tirelessly to earn the faith and trust that they have placed in me. I am excited to begin this term and continue our reform based agenda. My administration and I will remain committed to embracing government innovation and change to ensure that we provide the best, most cost-effective government for the great people of Ulster County. I look forward to working with the incoming Legislature to serve our citizens and meet the challenges this next term will bring.
