KINGSTON, NY - It has been determined by the Ulster County Department of

Public Works that the superstructure on County Bridge #66 in the Town of Saugerties requires replacement. The Ulster County Department of Public Works will replace the Cemetery Bridge on Blue Mountain Road in the Town of Saugerties, with work beginning on Monday, September 18. In order to accomplish this work, it will be necessary to close a portion of Blue Mountain Road in the Town of Saugerties to all through traffic, effective September 18, 2023. The closed section of roadway will be approximately 400 feet north of the intersection with Charles Hommel Road.

                Start Date:                       Monday, September 18, 2023. 

Traffic may use State Route 32 South for 1.8 miles to Harry Wells southwest for 2.0 miles to West Saugerties for 0.2 miles west to Blue Mountain Road.
