R.S.V.P. by calling 845-340-3456.  Bette Ann Moskowitz is an award-winning author and teacher.  A native New Yorker, she developed her love of reading in the city's great libraries.  She wrote her first book at the age of nine and has not stopped since.  She received her undergrad and graduate degrees at the City University of New York (Hunter and Queens) and taught at Queens College until she relocated to the Hudson Valley. Moskowitz has published several books, articles and op-eds, including a novel, Leaving Barney, a memoir, Do I Know You? A Family’s Journey through Aging and Alzheimer’s which won New York State Foundation for the Arts Fellowship for Literary Non-fiction. She also wrote The Room at the End of the Hall: An Ombudsman’s Notebook and achieved finalist status in the same category.
