Ulster County participates in Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign
County Executive Mike Hein and the Ulster County Civil Service Employees Association have announced that after more than a year of negotiations, a tentative agreement has been reached covering the 1300+ Ulster County employees represented by CSEA. This tentative agreement, if ratified, would extend through December 31, 2014. The prior agreement expired on December 31, 2010.
Gardiner, NY -- Ulster County Executive Mike Hein toured the Tuthill House at the Mill Restaurant in the Town of Gardiner on Monday to check on the results of some of the many small business incentives Ulster County has to offer. County Executive Hein was joined by Myriam Bouchard of the Mid Hudson Small Business Development Center, Paul Rakov of the Ulster County Development Corporation and the Tuthill House at the Mill Restaurant owners, Joe and Tobi Gabriello.
Kingston, NY – Ulster County Executive Mike Hein appointed Ulster County Fire Coordinator Charlie Mutz, Shawangunk Police Chief Frank Petron, Bloomington Fire Company’s Kevin Keller, and CEO of Reis Insurance Paul Casciaro to the Ulster County Arson Task Force Board. The County Executive also appointed Wayne Freer, an Ulster County Fire Coordinator and SUNY Ulster’s Director of Safety and Security to chair the Arson Task Force Board. The District Attorney is an ex-officio member of this Board.
