2021 Mid Hudson TMA Certification Review

The three Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) of the Mid-Hudson Valley Transportation Management Area (TMA) – the Dutchess County Transportation CouncilOrange County Transportation Council, and Ulster County Transportation Council – will be undergoing their regular Federal Highway Administration & Federal Transit Administration Certification Review during the month of September 2021.

UCTC would like to invite all members of the public to participate in the Virtual Stakeholders and Public Group Roundtable session as part of this year's review.

By law, areas with population of over 200,000 persons that are TMAs are required to be certified every four years through a Certification Review process.  The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is currently conducting this review on the implementation of the transportation planning process in the Mid-Hudson Valley Metropolitan Planning Area under federal regulations.  As participants in the MPO planning process we are interested in hearing from you on your experience with OCTC, DCTC, and/or UCTC.

The virtual roundtable meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 22nd  4pm – 5pm.
