Services

The Department of Finance offers the following services:

  • Certification for paid taxes for sub-divisions
  • Issuance of Copy Cards
  • Collection of delinquent tax payments
  • Receipt of cash payments for civil service exams
  • Acceptance of retiree monthly health insurance payments
  • Administration of the County Payroll

 

2020 Public Auction

The 2020 County of Ulster Public Auction will be held October 27th, 28th, and 29th at Ulster County Community College in the Quimby Theatre inside Vanderlyn Hall, starting at 10am each day. Bidders must pre-register by October 13, 2020 using the pre-registration form below. Only pre-registered bidders will be allowed inside the theatre. No spectators will be allowed, and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. You must select which municipality you plan to bid on parcels within. Do not select all municipalities, as those registration forms will not be accepted. Prior to the auction, pre-registered bidders will be contacted regarding as to which day(s) the selected parcels will be auctioned, and which days bidders will be allowed to attend. A maximum of 40 bidders will be allowed in the theatre, so pre-registration forms will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Prior to bidding, use the Ulster County County Clerk's online search feature for limited access to search for judgements, liens, mortgages, etc. at the following link: https://www.searchiqs.com/NYULS/Login.aspx
