“The Friends of Historic Kingston is just one of the many extraordinary organizations that educate, promote and preserve Ulster County’s cultural heritage and I am pleased to be highlighting Cultural Heritage Week at their museum and gallery,” said County Executive Mike Hein.  “I encourage all residents and visitors to experience some of the wonderful activities happening in the County from October 9th through October 18th and I thank all the participants in this year’s Cultural Heritage Week.   It is so important to be reminded of our past and educate our children and this week is a fun way to do just that as there are activities for all ages.  Our calendar of events can be found on our website and at http://ulstercountyny.gov/cultural-heritage-week.”
