After several decades of disappointment and failure at the TechCity site, tonight's unanimous votes by the Ulster County Legislature and the Ulster County Economic Development Alliance have finalized the transfer of TechCity to National Resources, realizing a decades-long goal that will finally allow us to return this site to its full potential. Coming into office, I made revitalizing TechCity a top priority of mine and I am so proud of the work that our team has done to get us to this historic moment. With the proven leadership of National Resources, I have full confidence that TechCity, once the shell of past economic success, will be transformed into a thriving beacon of new opportunity for our County.
