Ulster County Assistant Public Defender recognized by state-wide association
Kingston, NY- Ulster County Assistant Public Defender Heather Toole has been awarded the Kevin M. Anderson Memorial Award by the New York State Defenders Association for her steadfast commitment to justice, compassion and determination. Ms. Toole has been practicing law since 2004 and represents indigent clients in Ulster County Family Court.
The new satellite information center will showcase tourism properties, local businesses and destinations and help constituents better navigate county government.

Everyone is encouraged to wear purple on Monday, June 21st as a tribute to the thousands of individuals in the Hudson Valley who have been touched by Alzheimer’s Disease and in recognition of the invaluable work done by the Hudson Valley/Rockland/Westchester chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Kingston, NY – Ulster County Executive Mike Hein announced today he has advanced legislation for the Ulster County Legislature to convey a parcel of property to the Town of Ulster for it to use as a kayak park/boat launch along the Esopus River. The conveyance is part of County Executive Hein’s plan to increase outdoor activities for county residents.
