POSITION:           ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY

LOCATION:         ULSTER COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
                          KINGSTON, ULSTER COUNTY, NEW YORK

 QUALIFICATIONS:  Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York and be in good standing. Minimum of seven years of work experience in general legal practice or with a background in any or all of the following areas: litigation, family law, municipal law, real estate, bankruptcy. Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts given special consideration. Special consideration will also be given to candidates with municipal law background, and/or supervisory background. Skills and personality must be suitable for a small law firm atmosphere. Health insurance and other benefits available through employment. Salary commensurate with experience. Interviews will be conducted in person in accordance with New York State COVID-19 pandemic guidelines.
