The mission of the Ulster County Housing Development Corporation is to create safe, decent, and affordable housing by working collaboratively with the public, non-profit and private sectors to ignite opportunities and provide solutions that respond to community needs, enhance community character and provide the foundation for families and individuals to thrive.
UCHDC was created in response to County Resolutions Nos. 179 and 274, calling on the Ulster County Executive to identify County-owned lands suitable for contributing to meeting the County’s housing goals, beginning with site of the former County jail on Golden Hill.
The next meeting of the UCHDC Board of Directors will take place on Wednesday, September 23 at 2:30 pm in Legislative Chambers, 6th floor Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street, Kingston, NY.
