The Ulster County Executive’s Office and the Legislature established the Inter-Agency Domestic Violence Council on May 13, 2009. The Mission of the Domestic Violence Council is to gather together organizations serving domestic violence victims to discuss issues that require attention, and which would contribute to the enhanced functioning of the criminal justice system. This may also include educational and prevention activities designed to build awareness of the services available to the residents of Ulster County.
