Posted: June 30, 2014Kingston, NY – County Executive Mike Hein announces the dedication and open house of the Ulster County Patriots Project at 1:00 P.M. on July 2nd. The County Executive recently met with Boy Scout Jesse Joy who installed the flag poles at the home as part of his Eagle Scout project, as well as Michael and Patricia Ruane from the Phoenicia Rotary, who assisted in the landscaping around the house. They are just some of the over 140 individuals, businesses and organizations who have helped make the Patriots Project a reality.

Posted: June 4, 2014The Community Continues To Prepare The Patriots Project To Be A Special Transitional Home For Our Veterans Kingston, NY – County Executive Hein met with a group of the 9th grade religious education students and CYO members of St. John’s Church of Woodstock to thank them for their contribution of kitchen items for the Patriots Project located at 67 Wurts Street in Kingston. This transitional home for homeless Veterans will soon be open and will allow for easy access to the services the Veterans may need.
