Through the work of the High Risk Mitigation Team, Ulster County and Ellenville Regional Hospital will leverage over 3 million dollars in grant funding to better understand overdoses and establish preventative measures to reduce overdoses and related fatalities throughout the County
Ulster County is eligible to receive up to $138,000 of grant funding for census efforts
KINGSTON, N.Y. - Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan announced that Ulster County has reached over 50,000 coronavirus diagnostic tests since March 10. There have been 52,009 total tests conducted with 1942 unique positive cases. There are currently 116 active cases of COVID-19 in Ulster County and 91 fatalities. Ulster County currently has a 0.2% rate of new positive cases. All Ulster County residents are currently eligible to get tested. During testing a nasal swab, oral swab, or saliva sample may be used.

KINGSTON, N.Y. – County Executive Ryan during his live Facebook briefing today called on Senate leadership to include federal assistance for local governments. While the House passed significant aid for state and local governments in the HEROES Act, which would provide direct relief for counties, there is growing concern that the Senate coronavirus relief bill may not include critical support for state and local governments.
