Ulster County Legislature adopts the 2020 Budget
KINGSTON, N.Y. – County Executive Pat Ryan announced today that Family of Woodstock is now providing ongoing and discreet, one-on-one trainings in the delivery of Naloxone. Naloxone is a medication approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to prevent overdose by opioids such as heroin, morphine, and oxycodone. It blocks opioid receptor sites, reversing the toxic effects of the overdose. The medication is administered through intranasal spray. Once trained, individuals with health insurance can access a Naloxone kit at most pharmacies.

County Warming Center in Kingston to Remain Open 24 hours a Day Through 9 a.m. Wednesday
Kingston, NY – Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan has declared a weather-related emergency for Ulster County today, closing all non-emergency County offices and services (excluding emergency and weather-essential personnel and services) while urging all residents to avoid any travel and take extra precautions throughout the duration of the storm.
Kingston, NY – Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan today met with Ulster County dispatch and highway workers and management and has maintained close coordination with utility companies and State officials in preparation for two days of potentially extreme winter weather. He also urged all County residents to exercise extreme caution if they need to go outside and avoid any travel to the extent possible.
Encourages Residents To Limit Travel and Have Emergency Preparedness Items on Hand
Kingston, NY – With parts of Ulster County expected to get between 8 to 18 inches of snow from Sunday into Monday, Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan today announced the opening of the Ulster County Warming Center. Located at 2nda Iglesia La Mision Church in the City of Kingston starting at 7:00 p.m. this evening, Saturday, November 30, the center will remain open 24 hours through 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4.
