County Executive Mike Hein Recognizes May As Mental Health Awareness Month

Kingston, NY – Ulster County Executive Mike Hein announces that May is Mental Health Awareness Month in Ulster County. To help highlight this recognition Ulster County will be participating with the National Alliance on Mental Illness’ (NAMI) Ribbon Campaign and displaying awareness ribbons on the trees in front of the Ulster County Office Building. NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Kingston, NY –County Executive Mike Hein is pleased to announce Ulster County’s 2017 TOP COP award winners. The awards were issued on April 12, 2018 at a ceremony during the Mid-Hudson Region Enforcement/Prosecution Conference held at Anthony’s Pier 9, New Windsor, New York. The ceremony, sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Region STOP-DWI Coordinators, was held in recognition of those law enforcement officers who have excelled in their region. The Top Cop Awards recognize officers for their diligence in DWI enforcement.
