Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger has notified 10 local governments across Ulster County of their successful application to the County’s Solar & Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (SEVI) program, which committed $2.5 million of the County's American Rescue Plan Act funds to support clean energy investments by local governments that reduce reliance on fossil fuels and help mitigate climate change.

Kingston, NY—On August 29, 2024, Spencer Lane, age 38, of Saugerties, was convicted after jury trial in Ulster County Court before the Honorable James Farrell, visiting Judge from Sullivan County, for the felonies of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, and the misdemeanors of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree, and Menacing in the Second Degree. The charges in the indictment stemmed from three separate incidents in the Town of Saugerties dating back to July of 2022.
