Kingston, NY—On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, Lacy Maxwell, age 43, and Ryan Maxwell, age 43, both of Malden, pled guilty before the Honorable Bryan Rounds in connection with the fatal hit-and-run resulting in the death of 21-year-old Starllie Swonyoung, of Saugerties. Lacy Maxwell pleaded guilty to Leaving the Scene of an Incident Resulting in Death and the felony of Insurance Fraud in the Third Degree.

Kingston, NY—On August 15, 2024, Elijah Lyons, age 27, of Kingston, pleaded guilty to Attempted Robbery in the First Degree, a class C violent felony, in Ulster County Court before the Honorable Bryan Rounds. Lyons pleaded guilty as a Second Violent Felony Offender; he is scheduled to be sentenced on November 14, 2024, to 12 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision and restitution.
KINGSTON, NY – On August 15, 2024, Jalik Walker, age 24, of Kingston, pleaded guilty to Strangulation in the Second Degree, a Class D violent felony, and Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, a Class E felony, before the Honorable Bryan Rounds. Sentencing is scheduled for November 14, 2024, before the Honorable Bryan Rounds.
