The passing of Nina Postupack is sad news. I have known Nina throughout my career as a prosecutor. She was to me a genuine example of a public servant – from the way she conducted herself and her office, including the way I observed her treat her employees and DMV clerks in the County Office building. I saw her with my own eyes treat people on a long DMV line with dignity and respect– that meant so much for me to see.
I asked her to perform my official swearing-in as District Attorney in the beginning of the year because of her humility, respect, and dignity for all, and I wanted my children to know such a stellar woman. We all grieve with her personal and work families. UNFORGETABLE HUMAN BEING AND PUBLIC SERVANT!
Abide with us, Nina.
