The Grant Will Be Used To Upgrade Lighting Systems In County Buildings, Reducing Power Usage And Saving Taxpayers Money
Kingston, N.Y. — Ulster County Executive Mike Hein announced today the award of an energy efficiency grant worth over $500,000 from Central Hudson. The grants will provide for the installation of high efficiency LED lighting systems at county facilities which will conserve 632,754 kWh of electricity each year, which translates into an annual savings of over $82,000 for taxpayers.
