Seniors 60 years and older must be registered with the Ulster County Office for the Aging (UCOFA) for this subsidized service. They may ride one shopping round trip per week free. Voluntary contributions are appreciated. Call the Ulster County Area Transit (UCAT) office at 845-334-8120.
Limited medical transportation (2 per week) is available Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Voluntary contributions are appreciated. The medical van is wheel chair accessible. Passengers who have an aide must notify the UCAT office at (845) 334-8120 when they schedule their appointment that the aide will accompany them. The aide rides free. Our subsidized Paratransit is available through UCAT. A Paratransit application can be obtained by calling UCAT at 845-340-3333.
Neighbor to Neighbor
Volunteer drivers pick up eligible seniors at their home and drive them to their doctors appointment. Must register with the program. After approval, please call at least 14 days in advance for your ride. Call 845-443-8837 for details.
