Kingston, NY—On November 8, 2024, Dasany Naveo, age 23, of Ellenville, pled guilty to Attempted Assault in the First Degree, a class C felony, before the Honorable James Farrell. Naveo is scheduled to be sentenced on January 10, 2025.

KINGSTON, NY—On October 24, 2024, Raymond Snyder, age 41, of Kingston, was convicted of Murder in the Second Degree and two counts of Burglary in the First Degree for the murder of another Kingston man, Romero Underwood. The verdict follows eight-day jury trial before the Honorable James Farrell, visiting Judge from Sullivan County.
As part of Ulster County Government’s continued dedication to traffic safety, County Executive Jen Metzger, in cooperation with the Ulster County Transportation Council and Ulster County Traffic Safety Board, are giving out 300 yellow reflective vests at different locations in the County. The vests will aid in pedestrian visibility and are available to the public free of charge as part of a “Be Safe, Be Seen” traffic safety initiative.
