Medicare Savings Programs (MSP)

Medicare Savings Program (MSP) helps eligible individuals meet some or all of their cost-sharing obligations under Medicare.  You can get help paying your Medicare premiums and in some cases, Medicare Savings Programs may also pay Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments if you meet certain conditions.  There are three separate MSP programs, the Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) Program, the Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB) Program and the Qualified Individual (QI) Program, Each with different income limits. It's important to call or fill out an application if you think you could qualify for savings—even if your income or resources are slightly higher than the amounts listed  at the Medicare.gov website:  https://www.medicare.gov/your-medicare-costs/help-paying-costs/medicare-savings-program/medicare-savings-programs.html#collapse-2614
