The Ulster County Office for the Aging senior dining program provides a place where seniors can visit for group meals, special events, physical activity opportunities and social engagement. The Office for the Aging operates five Community Cafés throughout the county, which offer nutritious, hot meals from 11 a.m. until noon.
This program is open to Ulster County seniors 60 years and older.
Lunch is served at Ellenville, Rosendale, New Paltz, Saugerties and Town of Ulster. Check below for specific days that cafés are open.
Reservations and registration are required for this program. For meal reservation please call Gateway Community Industries at 845-331-2180.
The recommended voluntary contribution for a Community Café meal is $3.00 per meal but not mandated. All contributions are voluntary and confidential. No one will be denied a meal if they do not contribute. If monthly income is higher than $1,926 for an individual or $2,607 for a couple, it is suggested that the contribution be the full cost of the meal: $8.16 for a frozen meal or $9.41 for a hot meal. Under 60 Community Café guests pay $9.41.
Call the Ulster County Office for the Aging at 845-340-3456 for details.
