Anderson Center For Autism, a wonderful community resource based here in the Hudson Valley, offers training programs on autism awareness to Ulster County residents, businesses and organizations. They can teach you how to improve your interactions with autistic customers, business contacts and applicants/employees. They have also developed an “Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder” PowerPoint presentation for their Autism Supportive Environment℠ program with a grant from the Community Grants Fund of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley.

KINGSTON, NY – Acting County Executive Adele B. Reiter is pleased to announce a Public Informational Meeting to discuss the Ulster County Midtown Linear Park Project in the City of Kingston. This proposed project will construct a pedestrian and bicycle path between Cornell Street and Westbrook Lane along the County’s abandoned railroad corridor.
