Services: The Bridge Back of Kingston Hospital is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services to operate an outpatient facility. The Bridge Back is medically supervised and provides alcohol and substance abuse treatment to individuals. The interdisciplinary team includes a physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, nursing staff, certified social workers, and certified alcohol and substance abuse counselors.
Specialty Areas: The Addictions Day Rehab Program, the agency’s most intensive level of service, is a 180-day, 4-hour per day, 5-day per week program for individuals with serious and persistent alcoholism addiction; a time-limited Evening Intensive Program for individuals who are employed during the day; a morning intensive outpatient program, an Adolescent Treatment Program which offers group, individual, and family therapy; evaluation and treatment for first-time or repeat DWI offenders; Outpatient Clinic Group and Individual Therapy in the areas of early recovery, alcohol awareness, 12 step spiritual recovery, children of alcoholics, codependents, aftercare, relapse prevention, feelings and spirituality, adolescent teen programs, gays and lesbians, stress management, women’s groups, family therapy, cultural diversity, and solution-focused groups.� A new “Special Needs” or “Group with No Name” meets 3 times per week for those unable to participate in standard group settings.
