County Executive Ryan establishes a new voter registration form distribution policy and reminds residents of new early voting law
KINGSTON, N.Y. – Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan today unveiled a new voter registration directive and public awareness campaign aimed at reminding residents of the changes in law that allow for early voting. For the first time, Ulster County voters will now be able to vote before Election Day at any of seven specific early voting sites throughout the county.
KINGSTON, N.Y. – County Executive Pat Ryan announced today the appointment of Lisa Berger to be the new Director of Economic Development. Berger, who served as the Director of the Ulster County Office of Employment and Training for the last five years, previously worked as the Deputy Director of Tourism as well as the Director of the New Paltz Chamber of Commerce.
Berger will take over the position currently held by Suzanne Holt who departs County service at the end of this week for a new opportunity in the private sector.
The Ulster County Film Office, Woodstock Film Festival, Stockade Works, Hudson Valley Film Commission, location scout Jillian Fisher, American Made Monster Studios, BCDF Productions and many others are working together to grow the film and television industry throughout the region. Since 2000, more than 500 productions have created thousands of jobs and $200+ million dollars of economic development in the Hudson Valley.

Kingston, N.Y. – As students around Ulster County head back to school this week, Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan today unveiled a new public awareness campaign aimed at reminding motorists, parents and students that school is open and to exercise caution and follow the rules for school bus safety. UCAT buses around Ulster County will feature the new campaign.
