Kingston, N.Y. – Ulster County and local Veterans invite the public to begin the Memorial Day weekend by honoring Ulster County’s Veterans who have made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our country at a solemn candlelight ceremony at the Ulster County Memorial Roll of Honor located in front of the County Office Building tomorrow, May 24th at 8:00pm (rain date Friday, May 25th).
Kingston, NY – Ulster County Executive Mike Hein announces that Ulster County police agencies will participate in a special enforcement effort to crackdown on impaired driving. The statewide STOP-DWI Crackdown efforts start on May 25th and will end on May 29th. Law enforcement agencies throughout New York State will collaborate and will be out in force in this coordinated effort to reduce the number of impaired driving-related injuries and deaths.
